I am Kitty with the House of Kitty Dunbar. Not only am I an expert, but I'm also a teacher and love to empower my clients by letting them in on my expertise and teaching them while I'm doing their makeup for tips and tricks.
I am extremely authentic and have the innate ability to make my clients feel seen and heard. That automatically puts them at ease when they're in my chair.
So not only do we offer luxury makeup services here at the House of Kitty Dunbar, we offer organic spray tanning. So for those brides who want a little bit of color for their wedding day so they don't blend in with their dress, it's a common complaint I hear from my brides. As well as blowouts and style outs, medical grade skincare, and the Diamond Glow Facial by SkinMedica, which leading up to your wedding day is a great facial to get your skin ready for your big day.
We offer a suite of services with a boutique, cozy, sanitary at-home feel, so clients really feel comfortable, they feel safe, and most importantly, they feel seen and heard.
Being located right in the heart of downtown Newport, the House of Kitty Dunbar is really an amazing place for my brides who come in from out of town to be able to have the luxury of having everything be in one place. They don't have to travel, they don't have to pay extra travel fees for makeup artists or hair artists to come in town for the rehearsal dinner. But don't worry, I'm not stuck in lovely Newport, Rhode Island. I am willing to travel anywhere, so don't hesitate to reach out.
I've been at this for a little over a decade now, and I think that's important because it shows how much I love what I do. I don't consider this work. This truly brings me joy day in and day out, and over those 10 years I've learned from so many other wonderful, talented, amazing artists in this industry and have traveled to places like New York City to take education classes on the latest trends and really keeping on top of what's going on in our industry. At the end of the day, my goal is to really make my clients feel like the most elevated, confident version of themselves. That to me is most important. I want them to feel at ease and totally calm. So I'm not just a makeup artist, I'm here from start to finish with skincare, makeup, and all other things beauty to make your day a huge success.
