What makes a professional wedding planner?

Chrissie Sue

A good wedding planner is able to conceptualize a client's vision by listening and also figuring out what their determined budget is.

Katie Ryan

I feel that a good wedding planner is somebody that is a great listener. Somebody that's creative can think outside of the box. Somebody that understands each vendor's role so that you can kind of pull everything together and create a really strong, solid team.

What’s the difference between a planner and an event specialist?

Chrissie Sue

An event planner will oversee the entire operation from start to finish, dealing with the client on a more consistent basis and the vendors alike. Where an event specialist is usually assigned by the venue that you contract and their focus is primarily venue.

Katie Ryan

They don't plan your detail meetings or attend your detailed meetings. They don't have really hands-on with the design and decor and pulling your day together. They solely focus on just the venue or food and beverage for that day.

How does a professional planner make the day run smoother?

Chrissie Sue

Hiring a professional wedding planner will allow the client to be able to focus on their day-to-day tasks and having the professional handle the budgetary needs, coming up with a cohesive plan, and manage timelines.

Katie Ryan

Save you cost, take the guessing out of your vendor booking process. We can match you with the perfect vendor fit that fits within your budget that provides beautiful service and a beautiful product.

Why hire a professional vs. a family friend?

Katie Ryan

Hiring a professional wedding vendor versus a family or friend, it really comes down to experience and knowing what to do in situations because situations come up all the time that needs to be adjusted or changed.

Chrissie Sue

A professional wedding planner should objectively make quick decisions and come up with unique solutions based on their experience in the market.

How do you stay within the couple’s budget?

Chrissie Sue

An event planner will actually come up with a budget and maintain that and make sure that all expenses are factored in, utilizing vendors that are within the budget that the client has.

Katie Ryan

Depending on how intricate your wedding is, how much time you have available to plan. I think having somebody to be a sound board and working with a professional that can help guide you.

Chrissie Sue

You have so many different professional options. There are people that are more focused on design and then you have people that are more focused on the overall plan.

Katie Ryan

If you're on the cusp of hiring a wedding planner, reach out talk to a few different planners so that you can understand what our full scope of job responsibilities are and how we can benefit you during the planning process. And then you can make the decision of what will work best for you.
