Why is transportation important for a wedding?

Experience R.I.

Well, I believe it provides peace of mind to the wedding party the family and the guest to know all the logistics and transportation has been taken care of.

Rockstar

I think transportation is really the timekeeper for everything, it kind of keeps you in check, it keeps you rolling, it keeps you getting to the places you need to be at and be at on time. You need to rely on the transportation to get you there.

Why go with a professional company?

Experience R.I.

Well, because they handle all the vehicle maintenance, provide quality drivers, manage the comfort and cleanliness of the vehicle.

Rockstar

Proper insurance coverage, backup that you need for your transportation. I mean we all have vehicles, we all get flat tires, we all get into accidents, we all forget our keys. Things like that happen. The professional is going through a checks and balance and has a system in place for you.

Why is it important for transportation companies to have several different sized vehicles?

Rockstar

Several different sized vehicles can accommodate groups of any size.

Experience R.I.

They have a smaller party, they might find it more intimate to be in a smaller vehicle. Of course, if they have many more guests, they might want everyone to travel together.

Rockstar

Or whether you have a big family and a wedding party of 30 people with all of your closest friends from high school, you have many options with a professional transportation company.

What’s the expectation on the drivers?

Rockstar

So that’s an interesting question because it depends on the type of client and when it comes to leisure things like a wedding, you want that person to be part of that experience. You don’t want someone not making eye contact, not engaging with you or holding the door open for you throughout the day. You want them to be part of the experience.

Experience R.I.

So they all have to meet a certain criteria that is held, it’s like the highest quality standard held by the Federal Motor Carriers Association. So of course we want the guest to feel safe. Not only to feel safe, but to be safe.

What about presentation?

Rockstar

For a driver, is a driver, you want a chauffeur for a professional company. They’re going to do things like hand you a bottle of water or a cup for your water. And not only will they hand you that cold water, they’ll take a towel and wipe the condensation off and give you that bottle of water.

Experience R.I.

They do pre and post trips to make sure the vehicle is ready for the road. Also that it is cleaned and maintained so that way our guests will have a comfortable ride.

Rockstar

They’ll have an umbrella. They’ll be able to guide you to the door. They’ll remind you to hold up your dress, guide you on how to enter the vehicle because lets face it, you don’t walk around in a gown and heels every day. So, it’s helpful to have someone that does that every single weekend.

What happens if there is a problem during travel?

Experience R.I.

Yea, if that unfortunate occurrence should happen, we always have someone on standby prepared to meet that need and take care of the issue as quickly as possible.

Rockstar

Especially a larger company with a diverse fleet, they have other vehicles in the area, it’s not the only event of the day. So they can definitely rely on their own fleet or their partners who are also in the area – nice trusted affiliate network. Oh, I would also recommend when you’re looking around for transportation, ask about the type of business and the type of clients they normally have. If they’re not used to doing weddings and they are mostly airport transfer people than they might not understand how a wedding works and they might not be dressed properly or prepared for you.
