Hello, my name is Tom Conte. I am the owner of Conte Sound Productions. Something a little different that we offer is a live vocalist. With the music that I sing, a lot of classic, quiet dinner music, it’s a nice quiet atmosphere and it adds a lot that you have a live performer. And then for the rest of the evening, a complete party with full DJ service.
So, I have been in the industry for just about 25 years. I started off in local restaurants and venues singing. I was asked time and time again, “Is there any chance you can come sing at my cocktail hour?" "Can you do a party for us?” From their it grew into the business that I have now.
Besides being the DJ at your wedding, we offer a few other services, which would be photography, which is my wife, videography, uplighting, photo booth. We hope to put it all together. We have a tremendous team that works together and we’re all in sync and make sure the whole night runs smoothly.
So, I am a survivor of a nightclub fire. So, I believe deep in my heart that I was spared, and I was saved to pursue my passion of music. This is my job, and my job is to look at your crowd and to see what they’re reacting to. I want to see everybody out on the dance floor. I don’t want to see half the people here dancing, and half the people sitting down. I want to make sure everybody gets up and gets a chance to dance. We’ll work closely together and go over a whole list of music, of more importantly songs that you do not want to hear and then songs that you would love to hear, and I’ll use that as a template and make sure the night is a complete party where everybody gets to hear a little bit of what they want. Everything is live mixed. It’s never just a stop and play. Everything is blended together. When I see them out there, smiling and enjoying the day and night and excited I could not be happier. If I don’t get the smiles from the couple and the happiness than I did not do my job. So, if you feel like I am a good fit for the two of you, I would be honored and I would love to be at your wedding as the entertainment, DJ, and to share the excitement that the two of you have to share the rest of your lives together.
