What makes a professional band?

What makes a professional band? I would say that, individualizing the clients, giving them all their needs, and being able to adjust to whatever they need. So as a professional band if you're flexible you're going to make them feel more comfortable.
How is a band different from a DJ?
World Premier Band
A band is different from a DJ far as performance and what you bring to the clients. Guests being able to really, really interact. not that DJs don't interact, but they’re behind turntables. Bands are performing, reaching out to everyone that's dancing on the dance floor. We're talking about grandmothers, grandmoms, mothers, fathers. Just being able to bring that energy to the crowd, interacting being engaged at all times.
What kind of music should a professional wedding band play?
World Premier Band
Whatever the client wants. As far as Country. Soul. R&B. hip hop. Whatever it may be. A professional band a general business wedding type band has a wide range of music that they can play to satisfy a lot of clients. So it's really about the bride and groom, what they want.
How do you keep the energy up?
World Premier Band
Bands as a whole, how do you keep the energy up? We love what we do. We love to interact with the people, the guests. We are hired to do a job, and you can see on stage that we love what we do so it just shines anyway. And once the people interact with us, it's a done deal.
How does a professional band communicate with their clients?
World Premier Band
I like to get on the phone and speak to the client. I let them hear my voice to make them comfortable. We have these touch points: beginning- booking the band, In the middle- how you doing? How's it going? As we get closer to the date- we need this this that that. Just keeping that close contact as the date is getting closer.
Describe how an established band should set up and clean up after an event.
World Premier Band
We have a lot of gear. Yes, a lot of gear. We are very neat. As far as high-end clients or whoever the client may be, we clean up after ourselves. Water bottles. We normally don't have water bottles on stage. Yetis, you clean it up. The professional band would do exactly that.

Listen, hire a professional band. We're gonna make you feel comfortable. We're gonna get you on the dance floor along with Grandma and Grandpa. We're going to have a great time with your guests. We are gonna rock the dance floor. No worries. Let's do this!
