Hi, my name is Lori. I am the daughter of Harold and Ann Messenger, the founders of Five Bridge Inn. And I’m her brother Michael, we are two of four siblings. What began as our family home was transformed by our parents in 1993 into a modest bed and breakfast. Over the years it has evolved into an extraordinary venue that has far exceeded their wildest dreams.

Throughout our lives our parents have devoted themselves entirely to this property. They have poured in financially, emotionally and physically to Five Bridge Inn. Nearly everything you see here today was built by my father. Through his craftsmanship and my mother’s visionary guidance and their relentless work ethic, they have cultivated a venue that now hosts not only weddings, but also corporate events, fundraisers, social gatherings, and more.

Set on over 80 acres, much of which is conservation land, Five Bridge Inn offers a private sanctuary with unparalleled backdrop for any occasion. I was married here in 2001, and my sister was married in 2004. And I was married recently in December 2024 in this beautiful Innkeeper Barn.

The Innkeeper Barn is a year-round venue that can accommodate up to 300 guests. It boasts a spacious gallery lounge area, ideal for cocktail hours or additional guests. With a 27-hour event window couples can begin their celebration as early as 7 AM and continue until 10 AM the following morning. The Inn provides a seamless wedding experience offering 4 to 5 guests for family or wedding party accommodations, including a salon a gathering space with a poker table and just outside a pool for summer enjoyment.

What distinguishes Five Bridge Inn from other venues is the variety of options available from choosing the venue to selecting one of many ceremony locations. Couples can choose the Rustic Barn, which holds up to 120 guests and offers a balcony or the Woodland Chapel outside. If you choose the Innkeeper, you can have your ceremony at the Birch Arbor, the gazebo on the front lawn or if the weather isn’t ideal we offer indoor options within the Innkeeper Barn or beneath the fully covered pavilion. We also provide golf carts to ensure convenient transportation across the property.

The allure of Five Bridge Inn lies in the comfortable, tranquil atmosphere that envelopes you as soon as you enter the grounds. The property also features a southern inspired open fire whiskey kitchen with a Nashville feel, available for rehearsal dinners, after parties and intimate events. We have the sunset pagoda for first looks. An Alpaca barn with an array of charming animals, including our beloved dogs, all of which contribute to the venue’s rustic elegance. Each couple also receives a dedicated wedding day director who works with them in the months leading up to the event meticulously planning every detail, coordinating with vendors and ensuring the flawless execution of the days’ timeline.
