Hi, my name is Morayo Sayles, and I own Piper Brown Photography. I didn't come up with the name, my family did. My children wanted my business to have the name of something that was important to us. So we named the business after our beloved Piper. She was a chocolate lab, Piper Brown. Piper Brown Photography.
I provide, with Piper Brown Photography, a fun, relaxed, no-frills wedding photography experience. You come in, you're yourself, and I'm just documenting all the things that are happening as they're happening. In the event that a battery overheats, or it starts raining and something stops working, you're still covered because I have all my equipment with me.
Booking a wedding with me is a party. What I mean by that is you come into my studio, I show you the different albums that I have and the different products that you could potentially get from me. They're everywhere. There are portraits, there are wall arts, there’s canvases. You sit down and it's almost like you're in a candy store. You get to pick out your favorite things, and then I help you pull together a collection that works best for you and your budget.
After that, it's all just delivering all the fun things that you've picked out, your engagement session, all the fun places we're gonna go, and the fun poses. We get to know each other, we laugh. You realize I'm a ridiculous person. Then we go on to planning your big day. I send you this questionnaire that asks you all kinds of nosy personal questions, but it helps me plan the perfect timeline for your wedding day. And then on the wedding day, you know me, I show up. It's just me hanging out with my friends at that point.
So I'm not just your photographer. I am someone who has worked probably in some area that you've been in. I understand what your pain points are. I understand what your stresses are, and I can empathize with that. That's, that's what I do, which is why I'm also a BFF. We sit down and you just vent. And I'm like, I get it.
A lot of people who've worked with me before say, how do you get it? It's 'cause I've lived it too. The best compliment a parent ever gave me was, you actually got my daughter's smile because when the camera's on her, she puts on this fake smile. But in all your pictures, I see my daughter's smile, and that's my end goal. So that you know, 10 years from now when fashions have changed and your children are laughing at what you're wearing, they still see you and you can still recognize yourself in those pictures.
I am looking forward to working with you and being a part of why your day is special.
